Thermage

Since its FDA approval in 2002, Thermage has been the leader in nonsurgical skin tightening. Using radio-frequency, Thermage safely heats the dermis layer of the skin while protecting the outer layer (epidermis) with cooling. This causes shrinkage of the lax collagen strands so that immediate tightening is seen. For the next several months following the procedure new collagen is formed which provides additional tightening and improved skin quality. The results are long lasting, with improvement seen for two years or more.

Thermage is a safe procedure and the occurrence of any complications is extremely rare. Immediately following the procedure, some swelling and redness can occur, however, you can resume your usual routine that same day. The procedure is designed to be very tolerable, however, pre-medication is available if desired.
