Injectable Fillers (Radiesse and Juvederm)

Radiesse

The unique composition of Radiesse provides immediate visual improvement common with other fillers, along with the benefit of long-lasting results. This is because Radiesse is made up of very tiny, smooth calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres. The microspheres (particles) form a scaffold through which your body's own collagen grows, and this produces the desired long-term effect.

Radiesse can be administered after applying only a topical anesthetic however additional anesthesia (at no extra charge) can make the procedure virtually painless. Nasolabial folds and "marionette" lines are two of the areas commonly treated with Radiesse. One the most rewarding areas to use Radiesse is for cheek enhancement. We can augment your fading cheek bones or give you the cheek bones you've never had!

After the injection, there may be mild redness and/or swelling however make-up can be applied and usual activities may be resumed immediately post-procedure. Additional augmentation can be performed 3-4 weeks after the originally treatment if desired. Radiesse can last up to 12-18 months before it is absorbed gradually and naturally by the body.

Juvederm

Juvederm is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid - a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. It can be used to smooth away facial wrinkles and folds including the "smile lines" or "parentheses" (nasolabial folds) and "marionette" lines. In addition, Juvederm can be used for lip augmentation. Plump up thinning lips or enhance small lips for a beautiful sensuous smile.

Juvederm can be administered using either a topical or injectable anesthetic (at no extra charge). There may be mild redness and/or swelling post procedure however usual activities can be resumed immediately. Juvederm can last up to 12 months however even longer durations have been seen with repeated injections.
